Snippets of Sunday - Ms Heap and Mr Beck

I don't know how much you're into music, but it's pretty much part of the landscape in these here part of the woods.

It's almost as much a need as bread and water to me.
I don't think I'd live very happily without it.

Music defines different memories and stories from my life.
It's all filed away back there in the recesses of moi's grey matter.

Anyway, I'll get to the point.
The snippet I want to share with you today is a song that I really love.
This chicky babe is an awesome singer and I love all her music.
What's great about this clip is that she's singing along to music made by Jeff Beck(guitar) and Tal Wilkenfield(bass).
What a trio!

Everyone give a warm round of applause for................
IMOGEN HEAP!!!!!

Seriously, you must hear it.

Happy days, people!

Feel Good Friday - ???

I got nothin' today.
Zip.
Zero.
Zilch.

So, I'm going to sit here and make it up as I go along.

Let's start with a photo that I haven't shared with you...hang on, gotta find one.

Ok. Here's one.

Melbourne City. Photo taken from Riversdale Rd, Camberwell.

Want to see another one?
Too bad, I'm going to put one up anyway.

I don't normally get to see Mt Buller like this in winter because it is usually so grey and cloudy up there during snow season.

Moving along...

How about a happy song?
Ok, you twisted my arm.

You're going to be singing it all day now!
Ha!

And now for a giggle.

Did you giggle?

I laughed hysterically!
Well maybe not hysterically, but I laughed loudly.

How cut was that guy at the end?

Too funny!!!

Not bad for not having anything to share today, aye?

Here's hoping you all have a wonderful weekend.
I sure hope to.

T&G Tuesday - Animal Farm

Can you guess what I did today?
That's right! I went on a school excursion with Angel's class to a farm.
A freezing, cold day, BUT, we all had so much fun!

Can you believe I had a turn at milking a cow???
I'd never done it before.

I wish, wish, wish that this farm was my place. Well, maybe not such a big farm, but a tiny one, with a few animals and land for the kids to run and play.
Yeah, I could see myself living in gum boots and doing chores around a very, very small farm.

What did you do today?

Snippets of Sunday - Kick It!

It's really cold and windy here today, but he insists on wearing shorts outside.
*sigh*
I don't worry too much, as long as his top half is warm.

I love taking action shots of him.
Some of them are just hysterical!

Classic shot!

I really, really wish I had a DSLR though cos then I wouldn't have that damn fraction of a second of shutter delay after pressing the button.
It's very frustrating when you're trying to capture a particular shot.
Oh well, them's the breaks.

He makes me laugh so much!

So there's my snippet of today.
The Monkey Boy kicking his soccer ball.

Hope you've been having a lurvely weekend.

Feel Good Friday - Coffee Date

Roughly every fortnight, I have a coffee date with my man. Ahem...my little man.
It's our thing. It's what we do.
Sometimes, we have coffee dates in between that fortnight, but if we don't, then we still have our fortnightly date booked in.

I always have a traditional flat white.
That's just my thing.

He always has either a babycino or a hot chocolate.
He rocks a chocolate froth moustache!

Sometimes I even have breakfast too.
Who doesn't love a chunky piece of fruit bread?
And no, I didn't use all the butter.

Going out for coffee is one of my favourite things.
It always makes me feel good.

And it's become easier with him the older he gets.
He stays put on his seat...most of the time.

So, tell me, what's making you feel good this Friday?
